How i struggled without practicing :
Apart from my college course i’ll always try to learn new things
@2016 I joined College
When i joined my college i have started using Kali linux , at 2016 hacking is famous those Facebook days makes everyone can you hack this Facebook account etc.Trust me i have started hacking some WiFi with Air-crack , wifite.Even tried burpsuite , Metaspolit etc.All i do is trun on youtube watch some tutorial and i follow many times it won’t work but very few times it work almost a year is ended. At that time i have decided to start learning Python.
@2017 I Started Programming
But this time i have decided don’t follow the tutorial alone just practice yourself, but this time also i just watched tutorials alone i already know some intermediate C++ so i learned python with-in a week or less so i was like “Wow I’m a SuperCoder” after that i was planed to learn Web-development , i’m a huge fan wix so i started learning HTML / CSS /JS same i never created any own project , i just build the same site that they teach in the youtube , i just followed 3–5 videos for a weekend and i was like “I need to apply for some full stack developer position because i know HTML/JS and also Python” so i was like that and i have applied too and got nothing.So i have decided to change domain.But whenever i sit in-front of my laptop i gave / giving 200% mine so some how i understand the concept of basic Python ,HTML/JS.
@2018 I Started Creating My Own Projects
I understand that i have learned 0% even-though i followed Python and HTML/JS but i know i understand the concept of programming because in my school i have learned something in c++ so i have planing to create projects when creating a projects i really understand lot of things , i take my own time to complete the projects at first few projects i took really a lot of time because i have to learn lot new things in python itself because i didn’t practice it after learning, I understood Python it is wast area we can do every thing in Python . That’s the time google assistant , cortana are got famous , that’s the time i noticed the Python plays GTA V i always huge fan of this channel to be open i learned everything from this channel and still i’m learning from this channel.So i was decided to make a project where we control the linux system via voice i not done this alone i have some friends who also worked for this project . After that i planed ok let me do something is JavaScript so i have created control website with voice this time i built it with my own.So i have found this linux system via voice project is needed to be improved so i have came across with wit that is more related to my project so i have used that , that makes me to create new project based on same concept called NIKU and i learned some Data Visualization also. Some how 2018 was over.
@2019 I moved to machine learning
It’s the time where data science and ML is started raising and python on Number 1 Programming Language and C++ was not in top 10. I was more interested Deep Learning because of it’s super power so changed my mind to be data scientist so it created more projects in the early of 2019 . But i’m not good in machine learning to get a job we need to more advanced in basics but deep learning is more advanced so in the mid 2019 i started learning Data wrangling , Data Pre Processing , Data Visualization , Data Modeling ,Exploratory Data Analysis , Machine Leaning etc this took almost October and started Deep learning from basics but suddenly i got Software Developer Internship so i went there i started learning skills for that like DevOps etc..
Why you need to practice at-least once in a week:
In Few days age (December 2019 3rd week) one of my friend is also learning Data Science , he called and said to finish some task , the task is scrape data from website and append it to DataFrame(it’s a data structure in Pandas) i forget the syntax but i know the concept because i practice a lot in Data Pre - Processing step so some i found the documentation and pickup-ed the syntax.
Did I practice once in a week?
The answer is sometimes YES and sometimes NO . So i too forget a lot but when i’m learning i completely understand the concept i give my 200% when sitting in-front of Online Courses .
How i getup after i forget
@Now 29.12.2019 : end of decade
I started learning programming in the 2015 from my school now i’m doing my final year in BE:Computer Science i understand one thing , syntax is just something you no need to care about , it’s all about understanding the concept what we learn. Ihaven’t coded in c++ for past 2 years but i know how to solve the problem with all new languages python ,Kotlin ,js , c++ , Java , ruby any language i can easily pickup, we can pickup the language at any time , it’s all about the understanding of problems.
So what will happen if you forget practice:
Simple you need Re-Learn ,Waste Data Again , Waste Pages Again but you will understand . That’s it
Conclusion
Always try to focus on Concept not on syntax . Always try to learn new thing but also somehow practice old things also.Some people says don’t multi-task but all i say is do multi-task on the same concept.
Ex: If you want to learn Backend don’t learn flask/django alone try to learn DBMS , Queues
